Let’s not give up our local hospitals without a murmur of protest
Welcome to the West and South Dorset Green Party
The Green Party promotes a broad range of policies based on ecological sustainability, a fairer economy for all citizens and a more equal society. We believe in reshaping our democracy to make it work for every single member of society and to make politicians accountable to the communities they serve.
Membership has been growing strongly both locally and nationally, and there has never been a better time to get involved!
The next whole party meeting for members and supporters is in Bridport on Monday 18th September 7.30pm. The venue is the Committee Room (first on right on the ground floor), Mountfield, Rax Lane Bridport DT6 3JP.
THE FIRST HALF OF THE MEETING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC - PLEASE COME ALONG AND JOIN THE DISCUSSION.
Roy Mathieson of Afford A Home West Dorset will be talking to us about the chronic lack of proper affordable housing in the area, why this has happened, the effects to our community and how you can get involved to help.
Afford a Home West Dorset are working to secure land partnerships to build social and affordable housing to eco standards, reducing the burden of energy costs to the owners/renters.
If you wish to raise an item to be placed on a future agenda – please contact the Secretary or Chair if possible at least ten days before the meeting by email to: email@example.com
